Dear all

Thank you for your support, the open call went out on the 8th May and by the night of 10th May, we could get the first batch of S$1000 ( USD 780) into Yangon. Fund should be slowly coming in.

This fund was distributed to

1)Health and Death Assistance Association – well known group, already distributing assistance outside Yangon.

2)A monastery in Karmayut Township (name of monk in charge and monastry available, send email to me) – distributed food in four locations in Hlaing Tharyar Township. cooked by neighbourhood community. small cash distribution.

People in distress are commanded to leave schools and monasteries – creating much anxieties among the victims
